WAB Lab was incorporated in 2017 to provide highly contextualised learning and performance ecosystems for businesses and professionals worldwide to enable people performance and transformation. We identify the needs of our clients (individuals, group or enterprise level) and customise different training needs and non-training supports to propose unique, highly contextualised and holistic solutions.
We also built a community of high-performance salesforce to provide customised sales for corporate customers. Where we innovate to co-create sales solutions with our partners, clients and business units for sustainable business growth. Our WAB Business Units aim to establish a global sales force to bridge the possibility of helping local businesses to globalise sales outreach.
To further empower our corporate customers, we introduced its flagship training-consultancy solution – STEP Up. Where the concept of training intervention and/or post-training solution undergoes a overhaul to provide customised help to SMEs in Singapore and Asia.

WAB for Employers:
⁃ 290K+ companies in Singapore, about 99% are SMEs
⁃ However, less than 10% of the companies are hiring more people than 90% of the companies
⁃ What if we can help the smaller SMEs to innovate, transform and grow? So that they can scale up and hire more people?
⁃ For the longest time we only talk about the employee training, how they should re-train to be employed. What about employer training?
⁃ Here at WAB Lab, we create 108MM, LearnWAB and WAB International to focus on helping employers build, grow and scale.
WAB for Employees:
⁃ In order for someone to continue to earn a living, he/she needs to continue to upskill.
⁃ But upskilling requires investments of time, money and resources. On top of that, invest in what?
⁃ Government has attempted to resolve one portion of the problem, which is money in the form of SFC/SDF/SFEC etc.
⁃ Now the real problem is what to invest into?
⁃ A lot of people went for the short-term money, which comes from the SkillsFuture Qualification Award (SFQA) and other Training Allowances (TA).
⁃ What is really important is knowing what skills to invest their money and time into, and using the money that the government provided to its fullest potential.
⁃ Here at WAB Lab, we create WAB Training and LearnWAB to focus on helping employees reskill, upskill and master skill.
Anfernee is always concerned about how the middle class and lower class workers reskill and/or upskill and continue to move up the social ladder, and he firmly believes that education and training is one of the most effective ways one can do so.
Anfernee did his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) from Nanyang Technological University and Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) from Institute for Adult Learning (IAL).
Prior to starting career in the private sector, Anfernee had spent about a decade in the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and had since developed a deep understanding of delicate business operations and processes through Systems Thinking. He also spent a couple of years managing some Learning & Development functions at the Formation HQ level.
After which, Anfernee had spent more than a decade setting up companies, offering a wide spectrum of services revolving around education ecosystem in Singapore.
Anfernee is also no stranger to the Adult Continuing Education and Training (CET) scene in Singapore as he holds an WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) certification and Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) certification (with multiple Distinctions) and has been actively engaged by Registered Training Providers or RTPs (previously known as Approved Training Organisations) in Singapore to perform various consultancy works in areas of accreditation, training management capability, training and assessment validation, micro-learning (blended learning) intervention and audits.
