Founder / Director:
Daphne Lim, Group Director of Corporate Planning and Strategy at Oceanus Group since April 2017 and concurrently serving as CEO of Asia Fisheries from 2023, exemplifies leadership that bridges strategic vision with operational excellence.
She played a crucial role in the company’s strategic debt restructuring and successful exit from the SGX watchlist, underscoring her ability to work within high-stakes environments and driving strategic initiatives on the Oceanus Group’s market position and financial health.
Prior to Oceanus, Daphne demonstrated exceptional leadership at PayrollServe, where she turned a loss-making department into a highly profitable one within just a year, through her focus on growth, operational excellence and client relationship management.
Managing a team of 30 payroll and HR specialists and serving over 300 MNC clients, Daphne has built deep domain knowledge and strategic understanding of best practices in human resources, payroll management and service delivery.
Daphne’s diverse background, including her educational achievements and her early career as a teacher, enriches her leadership perspective, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Her belief in the power of imagination to transcend limitations continues to inspire her approach to overcoming challenges and driving Oceanus Group and Asia Fisheries towards being Asian leaders in food security.
Daphne holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with Law at the University of London and is an ACTA Certified Trainer. She loves exploring and trying local street food.
