Brief Background of Institution / Organisation:
Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy (SCIA) endeavours to be the centre of excellence in education and lifelong learning. SCIA is a member of the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) Group, the leading provider of a diverse range of education pathways and professional training in Singapore.

About the
Managing Director
Wee Pin joins as the Managing Director for SCIA on 23 Oct 2019. He is responsible for the entire SCIA business in Cambodia. He is also the School Advisory Committee (SAC) member for Singapore Rosyth Primary School.
Prior to joining SCIA, Wee Pin has been working in Information Technology companies and Education Institution for last 32 years across Asia Pacific region. He has held many senior executive positions, ie Chief Operating Officer in NTUC LearningHub, Regional Vice President for Fujitsu Products Business Unit, General Manager and Director in various IT companies like IBM, Oracle, etc. Also he was the Treasurer for PAP Community Foundation, Kampong Chai Chee Branch and Jurong Country Club.
During his tenure with NTUC LearningHub, he was responsible for providing training and courses to Singapore Workforce. Courses included Employability & Literacy program, Business Excellence, Human Resources, Infocomm Technology, Security, Workplace Safety and Health, etc. He also took charge of the training business entity in China.
He holds a Master degree in Business Administration from Golden Gate University, USA. Also he obtained a First Class Honour degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering at Loughborough University, United Kingdom. He speaks, reads and writes both English and Chinese. He is married with 2 young children and loves sports.
