At Collective Perspectives (CP), we believe in a world where every individual – regardless of ability – can contribute meaningfully, live purposefully, and thrive. Born out of a bold vision to shift societal narratives, CP is a social enterprise that empowers, enables, and equips Persons living with Disabilities (PwDs) to unlock their potential and position them as valuable contributors to society, as well as celebrated leaders in the arts, business, and beyond.

Our Mission:

To economically empower PwDs by providing collaborative platforms, professional training, and real-world opportunities that foster sustainable income, creative expression, professional & personal growth, and societal impact.

 

Our Purpose:

- Partner with PwD Creatives to co-own content and IP, enabling them to generate income.

- Help them develop and scale creative talents for revenue via performances, distribution, and sales.

- Equip them to become leaders in the arts and performance fields.

 

What We Do:

(1) Empowerment through Creative Platforms:

We provide opportunities for PwDs to showcase their artistic and entrepreneurial talents through performances, exhibitions, and digital content.

 

(2) Skills Development & Training:

We offer digital marketing, business, and creative skills training - enabling PwDs to earn income through real-world gig economy projects.

 

(3) Economic Activities & Value Creation:

We help transform creative ideas into sustainable business models, supported by marketing, branding, and distribution channels.

 

(4) Employment Opportunities:

We connect PwDs with curated freelance gigs, commissioned work, and creative collaborations that enable independence and professional growth.

About the

Director:

VINCENT LIM comes with over 30 years of experience in the Broadcast, Media Entertainment, Digital Animation and Events sector, and has worked on a number of award-winning TV projects and international co-productions. His first foray into the TV industry was in 1994 when he joined the then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now MediaCorp) and was involved with well-loved local shows like Rollin’ Good Times, Growing Up and Triple 9. He later became part of a strategic and creative business unit in the Singapore Tourism Board to revitalise the ethnic districts in Singapore.

 

Upon leaving the corporate world, Vincent became a serial entrepreneur. He business interests span from a homegrown production house to a social commerce app. In September 2007, Vincent was among 42 honourees of The Spirit of Enterprise Award, which promotes and advances entrepreneurial spirit in Singapore.

 

Best described as energetic, dynamic, and unconventional, Vincent fearlessly pursues the uncommon to uncover new things to make a difference in the world. He is an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusivity and founded the social enterprise Collective Perspectives (CP) in 2021 to provide infinite possibilities for Persons living with Disabilities (PwDs) for sustainable income and elevating their status in society. CP was a finalist in the President’s Challenge Social Enterprise Start-up of the Year Award 2023. CP’s flagship event The DARE Festival is poised to be a global movement to empower PwDs in realising their full potential, talents and contributions through the right support and opportunities.

 

On the philanthropic front, Vincent is actively spearheading a sustainable Circular Philanthropy model aimed to end the cycle of poverty. He co-established the non-profit Ecosystem of Good (EOG) comprising of over 150 non-profit and faith-based organisations in Southeast Asia and Africa, with 23 collective advocacies. EOG is a hub for ground-breaking initiatives to unite individuals, businesses, communities, and investors in a shared vision that a collective commitment to goodness can create an enduring legacy of impactful change. An Impact Fund has been set up to catalyse transformative projects that can shape a sustainable and thriving future within a circular economy. This Fund supports social enterprises and projects that align with EOG’s core values of sustainability, philanthropy, and social impact. EOG’s portfolio is a testament to its unwavering dedication to drive positive outcomes for both the planet and its people. These include renewable energy ventures, cutting-edge sustainable technologies and eco-friendly initiatives fostering green and blue economies, as well as community-driven projects enabling economic empowerment and poverty eradication.

 

Vincent has an Honours Degree (2nd Upper) in Zoology from the National University of Singapore, and was on the Advisory Committee of Temasek Polytechnic Design School. He currently sits on the Film Initiative Selection Committee of Honour (Singapore), where he has been offering his time and expertise since 2016, listening to proposals from student and young adult filmmakers on what they think of Honour and helping them to shape and frame their stories to convey the nuances, multi-layered complexities, and meanings of Honour, in all its various hues and facets. Honour (Singapore) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting a culture of Honour and Honouring. The Honour Film Initiative seeks to honour the invisible People of Singapore – hidden, unsung heroes who create a better life and a better world for others. These are their stories, told by emerging filmmakers with a heart.

 

MICHAEL CHUA is a highly accomplished Executive Producer, Director of Photography, and Serial Entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the film, television, and media entertainment industries. Known for his keen creative eye and passion for storytelling with purpose, Michael has left an indelible mark across Asia’s media and digital landscape.

He is a forward-thinking technologist and trend-spotter, widely recognised as a wizard of mobile applications, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, including Web3, blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence. He continuously explores new frontiers where technology meets storytelling, creating immersive, scalable solutions for the future of content and commerce.

 

In the production world, Michael is a founding force behind Upside Down Concepts, one of Singapore’s top media production houses known for its genre-defying content and excellence in storytelling. His reputation for delivering high-quality, meaningful narratives has made Upside Down a trusted name in broadcast, corporate, and branded content. Michael also co-founded Skyshot, a trailblazer in aerial cinematography and time-lapse production across Asia. Leveraging drone technology and innovative camera systems, Skyshot has captured awe-inspiring visuals for architecture, infrastructure, and tourism projects throughout the region. He is also the Creative Advisor and Head of Video-On-Demand (VOD) at 1PlaySports, where he leads the development of digital sports content and storytelling strategy for one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing sports media platforms.

 

Driven by a deep commitment to social impact, Michael also co-founded Collective Perspectives (CP), a bold Social Enterprise that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a strong focus on empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Through platforms that fuse creativity, training, and income-generating opportunities, CP is building a more inclusive future by enabling PwDs to thrive professionally and artistically.

 

As a Pitch Panel Member of the Honour Singapore Film Initiative, Michael nurtures the next generation of filmmakers, encouraging them to tell stories that inspire empathy and social transformation. The initiative amplifies voices that celebrate the unsung heroes of our society, using film as a medium to build a more honourable and compassionate world. Michael Chua is not just a creative powerhouse – he is a catalyst for inclusive innovation, a pioneer in the intersection of media and tech, and a leader who believes in using storytelling to spark real-world change.
