Nick Tan is an entrepreneur and a multiple award-winning Immersive Media professional who has been nominated TOP 10 in VR. He has led his agency AP Media to numerous awards in the Marketing Excellence Awards, PR Awards, Markies Awards, Tech Excellence, Cannes, and many others.
Nick then founded OCEANUS MEDIA GLOBAL (OMG) in 2020 (A subsidiary under Oceanus Group: SGX). Since then, OMG has become the leading IMMERSIVE MEDIA & VIRTUAL PRODUCTION specialist in Singapore and around the region. Under his helm, OMG went on to be featured in many news media on virtual production topics in Channel News Asia, The Straits Times, Business Times, and many others. OMG was also featured on TV MediaCorp 8 for its innovation in virtual production.
With the help of IMDA Singapore and FINAS Malaysia, OMG announced in December of 2023 that it will establish the largest virtual production studio in Southeast Asia through an MOU with Iskandar Malaysia Studios (IMS). Together with the studio's opening in IMS in February2024, a virtual production ecosystem was also established to provide a full supply chain that included co-production, film financing, virtual production, distribution, technical support, and training and development.
Nick is a firm believer in the idea of continuously changing via the discovery of new media trends and the formation of strategic business relationships that provide genuine value and empowers partners, clients, and stakeholders.
