Flour Power is a socially responsible organisation that believes in empowering individuals with special needs and marginalised communities through skills training and employment opportunities.

Bake @ FP: An inclusive bakery where special needs individuals, including autistic bakers, are trained and employed, fostering adaptability in real work environments.


Learn @ FP:  Accessible structured learning program that equips special needs individuals with essential motor, social, emotional and cognitive skills through culinary activities.

Director:

Keat is a trailblazer in social entrepreneurship, is at the vanguard of empowering individuals with special needs and marginalized communities, championing a philosophy where diversity is embraced and everyone has the opportunity to excel.


As the CEO of Flour Power, Keat has taken this philosophy and turned it into action. Flour Power, is a social enterprise bakery and culinary school that provides employment and learning opportunities for people with disabilities. 


It is a place where inclusivity is baked into every aspect of its operation, from skill development workshops to the creation of handcrafted confections that delight customers and empower bakers alike.

Keat’s journey in the social impact sector is distinguished by his role as the ex founding general manager of the award-winning Project Dignity, an innovative social enterprise that empowers the disabled and disadvantaged in Singapore through food. 


His influence extends to his consultancy work for The Ruth Foundation for Palliative and Hospice Care Philippines, where he was pivotal in launching the Compassionate Community Kitchen. This initiative not only provides nutritious meals but also psycho-social care programs to palliative care patients and their families in Philippines, embodying Keat’s belief in comprehensive care and support.

Keat’s contributions go beyond his professional achievements. He is also volunteer and mentor, dedicating his time and expertise to various social causes and organizations such as BLW - Business Leaders Who Care, Code for Singapore, Singapore University of Social Sciences, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, and Common Purpose. 


His insights and leadership have been showcased at prominent events and forums, including Future Agenda, International Society of Professional Innovation Management, and the China Social Enterprise and Investment Forum.

Through his dedication and innovative approach, Keat continues to forge a path toward a more inclusive society, significantly uplifting the lives of those with special needs and marginalised communities.
