About the
Director:
Shan Cheng's founders are sister who hail from Ipoh, Elaine and Cheryl. Since young, they have been helping out with their mother, who is a noodle seller, in her business and has developed
a flair for whipping up good food. Leaving Iph to Singapore for worl for 10 years, they missed their mum's and Ipoh's cuisine deeply.
They thus founded Shan Cheng to reprise the food close to their hearts and to share the great taste with Malaysian, Singaporean and everyone else. Elaine Tioh is also the Managing Director of the Shan Cheng Restaurant Chain.
She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and a Diploma in Hotel Management. With over 14 years of experience in restaurant management and marketing, she previously worked for 11 years at a multinational logistics company, where she gained expertise in import and export operations. The experience is much helpful for the restaurant business.
Cheryl is the Chief Operating Officer of the Shan Cheng restaurant chain, bringing 13 years of experience in restaurant operations and administration. Before entering the F&B industry, she spent 6 years at Comfort Delgro Corporation, where she gained valuable knowledge in corporate operations and legal compliance. Her leadership and cross-industry expertise play a key role in driving the growth and efficiency of the Shan Cheng brand.
