Dr. Lily Tan is a visionary business leader who attributes her success to the principles of the Law of Attraction—believing that positive intentions and focused energy can manifest meaningful outcomes.
When she started this company with her partner Alex Bong, our vision was simple—build a business that doesn’t just serve clients well, but also takes care of its people.
As the Co-Founder and Compliance Director of TnB Global Outsource Pte Ltd, she has cultivated a thriving accounting and advisory firm in Singapore, serving over 1,000 clients across diverse sectors, including retail, property development, shipping, and F&B.
Her academic journey is marked by a Ph.D. in Business Administration and an MBA in 2022. She achieved her ACCA qualification in 2000 and attained Fellowship status (FCCA) in 2010. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Dr. Tan specializes in SME accounting, tax advisory, and corporate compliance.
Her career commenced as an Audit Senior in a mid-sized local audit firm, where she gained in-depth audit and compliance knowledge. She later co-founded TnB Global Outsource with Mr. Alex Bong, where she continues to lead with a forward-thinking and transformational approach.
Dr. Tan has been instrumental in integrating QuickBooks Online into TnB's operations, transforming the firm's service delivery. By leveraging this cloud-based solution, TnB has enhanced efficiency, eliminated manual tasks, and provided real-time financial insights to clients.
This strategic move has enabled the firm to expand its services, including business transformation and data analytics solutions, catering to a growing clientele of over 5,000 small and mid-sized companies from Singapore and Malaysia.
In recognition of her contributions to the accounting profession, Dr. Tan was honored as one of Insightful Accountant's Top 50 International ProAdvisors for 2025.
Under her leadership, TnB has received the OCBC Valuable Partner Award for 10 consecutive years since 2007—a testament to the trust and excellence the firm consistently delivers.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay, Teochew, Hokkien, and Cantonese, she bridges cultures effortlessly. Beyond her professional endeavors, she finds joy in walking, reading, and traveling.
