Funding Societies | Modalku is the largest SME digital financing platform in Southeast Asia, operating in Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. We provide business financing to SMEs, crowdfunded by individual and institutional investors for returns. Since 2015, we have helped to fund over 900,000 loans.
 

The concept of Funding Societies was established when co-founders Kelvin Teo and Reynold Wijaya realised the financial challenges SMEs faced in Southeast Asia. They saw the potential for peer-to-peer (P2P) lending and so, after completing their studies at Harvard, they returned to their native and began their journey of serving small and medium sized businesses.
 

The Funding Societies’ team is dedicated to driving financial inclusion by offering an alternative solution to SMEs that are lacking support from traditional institutions. Many businesses are searching for funds that are fast and available on a short-term basis, and so Funding Societies is able to fulfill these requirements.
